Mario Mutschler

(Senior Expert/Partner Service)

Since 2002 in the company and works council experience, both as a substitute and full member for 12 years.

My goal as a works council member is to keep the employee in focus, but also to take a closer look at the economic aspects.

Our goal must be togetherness and not conflict.

It is therefore essential to be involved in projects and decisions of the company.

When playing together with open cards, you can also achieve success together and achieve the best possible goals for employees and companies.

Regular exchange appointments with the management can be effective.

The nuts and bolts of good cooperation depend a lot on communication.

This has come too short generally in recent years.

To change something you need information, the employees need information.

You need to know what the works council is doing, how it is acting, what the problems are, what topics are driving us, and why some decisions take time.

Otherwise, I like to be in the fresh air and you see me with friends and work colleagues after work in the beer garden for a chat.

Animals are very dear to my heart and I like to speak for the disadvantaged, no matter whether human or animal.

Astrid Hasenoehrl

(Designerin/Sky Creative)

Since 2001 in the company and since 12 years member of the workers council

I couldn’t believe it by myself but next year will be my 50 years old. So what, the number declare nothing about me! Life is fantastic and I enjoy it with music, journeys, goldsmithing, to photograph, design, fashion, friends, family and sometimes a good mixed Cuba Libre.

A workers council is for our company essential.

Fairness is very important for me. Certainly we could’t forget the economy of the company. If there is a good solution for most of the employees and a bulk of the company we need to work constructive on it. A 100% solution is rarely.

Information – as little can be – is obligatory. We need to keep you posted and interact more with you. Also the company need to communicate with us timely and they need to involve us completely.

So that we are finaly not a blocker but an active part who work together with the management on topics.

My target is to revive the newsletter of the workers council.

To try a factory agreement in case of Homeoffice.

Support the Ocean Rescue. For You.

Roland Preckwitz

(Area Sales Manager SBS/Customer Functions)

At Sky I have been working in the SBS department since 15.06.2011. There I work in the field service. Here I look after the gastronomy, the hotel industry, as well as the trade matters. My area is Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen within a radius of about 90 kilometers. In Nuremberg I live too.

I am now 4 years in the works council. At the beginning as a substitute and for about 2 years as a permanent member. I would like to continue to work especially for the interests of the entire field service and all who have to deal with it. I think it's important that there is someone here who can represent the interests.

Together with my colleagues on the works council, I would like to continue to try to prevent injustices and find solutions that are good for both sides. It is also important for me to always introduce innovations in dialogue with the company. It is certainly advantageous that a view of someone who sees the company from the outside is also included in the works council.

Michael "Heinze" Heinz

(Floor Manager & Cameraman/Sky Sports Production)

My focus, as in recent years as an active member of the works council, in the field of work safety. Whether safety at work, climate situation or mental stress, everything is important for our well-being and our health here at Sky and I would like to continue my engagement in the future.

As the greatest success of my last legislative period, I would call my cooperation in the company agreements on shift work and working time. That is why, in my opinion, it is also in the general interest that more operational agreements should be concluded, such as for regulating care time or the climate situation at the workplace.

Also the communication with the coworkers was not actively done well in the last years for different reasons. My wish would be that the employees are better informed about the processes in the company and about the activities of the works council in general.

In addition, animal and environmental protection is an important issue for me .

That's why our flyers and posters were made CO2 neutral (see CO2 certificate).

Thomas Meier

(Team Leader Graphics Development & Viz Ops/Sports Production)

In the last 4 years, the appearance of the works council wasn’t the best for the employees. The impression was that many decisions in the company were delayed or prevented by blockades of the works council. That's not true, of course. But it is true that the current works council did not contribute much to this appearance, regardless of which measures, to represent it differently. It is my personal concern to change this in the future.

A regular exchange with you employees should take place in the next 4 years, as far as it is legally possible, so that no one in the company can say anymore: "What is with the works council actually doing?".

Achievements, as well as controversial topics, should find their way to you, so that you can form an objective and objective opinion about the acitivities of the new works council, but also about certain procedures of corporate governance.

Frieder Büttner(Customer Relation Manager for the care of hotel customers/Business Solutions)

At Business Solutions I am a Customer Relation Manager for the care of hotel customers. Previously, I worked at Customer Service and Reseller Care as an agent, team leader and trainer.

With my knowledge of the requirements and needs of these sectors, I would like to support the works council. It is important to me that a trustful and respectful togetherness exits, both with the employees, but also with the management. Only together can we achieve our goals. These include the securing of jobs, but also the further development of Sky as a company.

Especially in the current age, equality (regardless of gender, skin color, religion and sexuality) is extremely important. For this reason, I’m committed to tolerance, respect and equal opportunities, because nothing is worse than to have to permanently change or have no perspectives. Although we have already achieved many things, we can not rest on our success.

Sevda Cakir

(Documentation & Research/Content Discovery)

I would like to apply that just as I can understand and shape a lot through the works council (until now as a substitute member), others also have the opportunity through me to understand and shape processes and decisions. I would like to be a voice for you.

Martin Dürbeck

(Senior Cutter/Sky Sports Production)

I am very pleased to support the commitment of "We4U" in the future. The works council has been able to steer a lot in a positive direction in my area and helped me personally as well. Now is the time to give some of the help back.

Thilo Schrödel

(Control Room Operator/Sky Sports Production)

In recent years, I have heard a lot about the work of the works council. In fact, the participants were always there for me and helped me with words and deeds. In addition, they enforced the last company agreements that were extremely important to us (especially the shiftworkers).

This has shown me that a strong works council is extremely important for the business operation at Sky. Now I would like to give something back and have therefore decided to offer myself as a candidate.

Above all, it is important to me that bullying, abuse of power or lousy maniplutaions have no chance at our company.

Margit Schulzke

(Head of Picture Management/Content Ops. & Transactional Business)

I would like to work for a fair and equal togetherness and also contribute personally in order to communicate processes and decisions more transparently to my colleagues, as well as for a better understanding of the backgrounds.

Michaela Höss

(Photo Editor/Picture Management Programming)

Since 2005 employed in the company before as a freelance designer.

I think it's very important that especially in such a large company like Sky, the small, quiet voices are heard and receive support. That's why I decided to run for the works council election myself this year

Katy Hebsaker

(Senior Project Manager/Sales)

Do you also think, what is the works council actually doing?

Why are talways looking for a struggle?

Do you know the sentence "That still depends on the works council?"

We want to take these "negative" feelings away and communicate openly, be there for you and stand by your side with words and deeds. We stand for TOGETHERNESS and NOT AGAINST EACH OTHER!

It starts with trivialities and will be practicable even in larger matters. We stand for you, behind you and go with you!
